Penne is probably the only pasta that makes sense as a lamp (at least for now). This is just my personal take on a classic pasta.
Al Dente Glow: I modeled this from a very common, blue-boxed dry pasta you likely already have in your pantry. It follows the Penne Rigate style, ridges on the surface but scaled to exactly 11.3 times the size of the original. It gives off a soft, warm white glow that creates a perfect atmosphere for any pasta lover.
Uncompromised Shape: Since penne is diagonally cut on both ends, it can’t stand on its own. To keep the silhouette authentic, the pasta sits on a dedicated "sauce" base, retaining its iconic shape and bringing the total height to a bold 40cm.
The penne rests on a base of your choice: Tomato Red or Cream White. These are specialty 3D printed PLA infused with tiny particles, giving the base a distinct matte finish and a slightly rough texture that sort of simulates the look of a pasta sauce.
